could potentially do Weds or Fri, though Weds might be more convenient!
On Weds I’m going to sign the tenancy thing and take a bag of stuff down etc, so I can let you know what times that’ll be closer to the time? And if you’re around, that’s great, but if not, no worries!

!!!!! let me know if you need a hand moving :D (also could possibly rope dad and the car in!)
Thank you! I should be okay for getting stuff down as my dad sells cars so can hopefully borrow a decent-sized one, but I may appreciate even just some company/headcanon discussions whilst I’m unpacking/sorting things at some point, I’ll let you know! I’m actually moving my stuff down on Saturday evening (hopefully, as I said, not heard from estate agent in a while), so some point after then.
P.S. if you’re around for me to say hi at some point, I’m probably down on Wed and on Friday me and my sister are going to see Julius Caesar so will be around.

I miss you lots and am cheerleading viciously from afar and wish I could shower you in loveliness <3
I miss you toooo, it’s not the same not being able to turn up at your door with bits of dinner and beg carbs off you so we can watch shit (but it is okay because you’re still addicted to snapchat so even whilst being rubbish I can still see what archeology jokes you’re making)

would recommend Black Mirror in that order. Red Riding you might have to get illegally I’m afraid. also if you’ve not seen any Luther I can rec you some good series one eps? I’ve not seen all of it yet tho
Okay, cool, thanks! (I might watch Luther at some point, but do let me know good eps once you’ve seen it all then I can try out a good one)(and also no, we never got round to Sunshine, so I’ll bear that mind too)

glancing at my netflix: Eternal Sunshine? oooh Black Mirror (1x03 and 2x02 for deffs, then 2x01 and 1x02 if you fancy, 1x01 and 2x03 are good but sillier). Red Riding is meant to be quite intense (they’re tv movies) but I’ve never seen them
Ah, you got there before me - yeah, I’d forgotten about Black Mirror, and I’ve heard good things about Red Riding too, so might check them out, thank you!

lord I think I’ve shown you everything soul-destroying I know of. I’d say Gen Kill because it’s super intense but also kinda long?? I’ve not seen it but Hunger is meant to be as bad as Shame. argh this is really hard without my dvds in front of me
Thanks - I think we have watched basically everything soul destroying you own, that being our main criteria for films we watch together… (actually, I should go see what’s on netflix, make sure there’s not anything I’ve heard of as being awful)

I noticed a really fucking scary correlation between how shit I felt about myself how quickly when I returned on here, for some reason even totally legit reactions/opinions feel like attacks. congrats on graduating though!!
Yeah, exactly, it can be a strange environment, for all its positive aspects - I’m not sure why opinions not even directed towards you can feel so much like attacks, but yeah, I think I might have to start just stepping away occasionally when it’s making me feel shitty
(thanks! I am now holding the classic celebration ‘oh look they have old HIGNFY on netflix let’s watch and remember the politics in 2010’)

this is probably how I feel about reading! if it helps re: Utopia if you wait until the series is over I can tell you whether you need to watch ep 1 or not (I think it was annoyingly pointless if you’ve somehow missed my ranting)
I saw the ranting, didn’t read as I didn’t want too many spoilers - I probably won’t end up watching it until after the series is over, so I might check with you then
(I thought it would be reading, I assumed that would happen after an English degree, but no, that’s fine - perhaps because I’m better with things that use up all my concentration, I don’t know)

fic: Every Little Helps
The Thick of It, Adam Kenyon/Fergus Williams, 1400 words
Fergus really hates the Westminster branch of Tesco. Regardless, he always seems to find himself there.
Wrote this for alichay and placetnemagistra, who both seemed like they could do with a bit of ridiculous Adam/Fergus.
the thick of it
yes I write fic based around actual branches of supermarkets now

dw I still maintain you saved us from a greater fate. plus you had a really good go at the monologue and it was fucking hilarious
Oh Irvine Welsh’s Ecstasy, so terrible even I remember that as much as I saw was terrible
(you’re lucky my brain is so obsessed with that play, or you might’ve got ‘friends, romans, countrymen’ instead, and that’s much longer and I would have been far more likely to get that completely wrong)

flashbacks to you trying to recite this drunk
I am proud of absolutely nothing from that night except the fact that my brain thought trying to recite this speech was clearly the best way to prove I was ‘fine’ (and then getting it wrong because I clearly wasn’t)
